How do I update my information?

Parents are responsible for keeping contact details, health information, and authorized pick-up information up to date. Let us know if anything changes so we can make the necessary updates. Parents will also be provided a log-in to our system, where they can update information for their child and all authorized adults, view payment history, and check account balance information.

Personal Belongings

What should my child bring?

Each child will be provided a cubby for personal items such as shoes, bottles/cups, diaper bags, and a change of clothes. Please label all items with your child’s name. If items need refrigeration, let us know, and we’ll be happy to assist.

Can my child bring toys?

We recommend that all personal toys and electronic devices stay at home. If you do choose to allow your child to bring toys or devices from home, Bizi Kidz is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal belongings.

What if my child has an accident?

We recommend always sending a change of clothes with your child. If you do not provide any and your child needs a change of clothes, we will supply these for a fee of $5 per clothing item. This charge will be refunded if the clothes are returned in a clean and damage-free condition.

What if I forget diapers or wipes?

If your child needs diapers or wipes and you don’t provide them, we will supply them for a fee of $1.00 per diaper.

Payment

When is payment due?

Payment is required at pick-up unless you’ve purchased a prepaid package. Children cannot stay if there is an unpaid balance.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, ApplePay, and PayPal.

Are there time limits for care?

Due to state regulations, we can care for your child for a maximum of 4 hours per day. A fee of $1 per minute applies for any time exceeding this limit or for late pick-ups after closing.

Snacks and Meals

Do you provide snacks?

We offer a choice of several snacks for $1.00 each. You’re also welcome to bring snacks from home. No nut products are allowed.

Do you provide meals?

Bizi Kidz does not provide meals. You are welcome to pack a labeled meal or snack for your child, ensuring all items are free of nuts.

What about water?

Clean drinking water is always available for your child. We prefer that you provide a water bottle labeled with your child's name.

Behavior Policies

How does Bizi Kidz handle behavior management?

We encourage good behavior through praise and positive reinforcement. If a child’s behavior requires discipline, we will use verbal guidance and redirection, reserving time-outs as a last resort. If a child displays continuous poor behavior, we will notify the parent/guardian to pick up the child.

What happens in cases of violent or aggressive behavior?

The safety of children and our staff is our top priority. Behavior that threatens safety—such as pushing, hitting, kicking, biting, pinching, or throwing objects—is not allowed. For repeated incidents of violent or aggressive behavior, we follow a “three strikes” policy:

  • First and Second Incident: Behavior will be documented in writing, and the parent/guardian will be called for immediate pick-up.

  • Third Incident: Behavior will be documented, the parent/guardian will be called for pick-up, and the child will be suspended for 90 days. After this period, the child may return if the behavior has improved. Continued issues may result in further suspension.

In cases of extremely violent behavior or delayed pick-up, immediate suspension may occur. Bizi Kidz Greensboro reserves the right to administer suspensions at its discretion.

How do you handle separation anxiety?

Separation anxiety is common and usually resolves within minutes. However, if a child continues to cry for more than 15 minutes, a staff member will contact the parent/guardian.

Sick Policy

When should I keep my child home?

If a child is too sick for school, they may not attend Bizi Kidz. Children with the following symptoms may not be dropped off:

  • Sore throat or excessive coughing (including “seal bark” cough)

  • Profuse, thick, or yellow/green runny nose
